For the execution of electronic business processes INNIO relies on SupplyOn, our supplier portal which we have selected due to years of experience and expertise in this area.
Find out about the applied processes, get to know SupplyOn and check how you can register quickly and easily to process your orders, transport and shipping notifications electronically in the future in a way that can benefit your company.
Jenbacher Suppliers
Over the past two years, we have transformed our business processes and now we communicate with our suppliers mostly via SupplyOn.
Your advantage: you only use one system (SupplyOn) for your purchase orders, forward pick-up advises (FPA) and advanced shipping notifications (ASN).
This eliminates the need for repeated, identical manual data entries. Your time expenditure is reduced and error-prone manual data entries are avoided.
1. INNIO sends purchase order (PO) to supplier via SupplyOn.
2. Supplier confirms order (PO Confirmation) via SupplyOn and creates forwarder pick-up advice (FPA) and advance shipping notification (ASN); ASN will be processed at INNIO for goods receipt booking.
3. Order information (PO Info) and FPA (incl. Ready for Pickup date) will be transmitted to Ceva Logistics Control Tower.
4. Control Tower commissions the freight forwarder.
5. Control Tower sends pickup confirmation (SRF) via e-mail to supplier.
6. Control Tower sends transport information to INNIO.
Waukesha and Welland Suppliers
The changeover to SupplyOn took place in Q3 2019 and the Clear Orbit process was switched off. Waukesha & Welland suppliers should send POs, PO Confirmations, PO Changes and ASNs via SupplyOn, only the FPA process remains unchanged: transport notifications are as usual made directly by the supplier to the logistics service provider, e.g. expeditors.
1. INNIO sends purchase order (PO) to supplier via SupplyOn.
2. Supplier confirms purchase order (PO Confirmation) via SupplyOn and creates advance shipping notification (ASN). ASN will be processed at INNIO for goods receipt booking.
3. Supplier sends transport request / shipping notification to Control Tower / Expeditor or directly to the carrier (manually).

Efficient Purchase Order handling
SupplyOn provides you with an overview of all open, pending and completed orders. Using the filter and search functions, you can access directly those transactions that are relevant for you. You will be notified immediately by e-mail of any changes. The order history shows by means of markers which changes your customer has made. There are numerous options to set up e-mail warnings to support you in the order processing. After receiving an order or an order change, you can confirm it. The original order as well as your confirmation are separated and thus clearly visible in the system.
Your benefits
-
Less effort. Your purchase orders, PO changes and confirmations are managed in one central system.
-
You receive automatic e-mail notification for incoming purchase orders.
-
Various alerts and filter settings support you in the order processing.
-
The history function allows you to track your order and order status online at any time.

Transport and shipping notification : Forwarder Pick-up Advice (FPA)
With SupplyOn's transport notification (FPA) you can quickly and easily inform Ceva Logistics when your goods are ready for collection. The FPA is created on the basis of the order/order confirmation and you only need to complete it with the transport-relevant information and the date of the collection. The label and delivery documents can be printed out and attached to the goods and the transport notification is automatically sent to Ceva Logistics for the organisation of the transport.
When should the FPA be issued?
Depending on the means of transport, you should issue the FPA at least 2 to 8 working days before the planned collection date.
Your benefits
-
Fast process for requesting transport for your deliveries
-
Overview of open and due deliveries
-
Clear allocation of the shipments
-
Easy creation and print out of labels and delivery documents
Please have a look at the video tutorial on the top tab.

Advanced Shipping Notification (ASN)

Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASN)
With the SupplyOn ASN you confirm the collection of the goods and complete the delivery due. The ASN is pre-filled with the data from the FPA - in case there is no FPA, with the data from the order - and can be adjusted if necessary, e.g. deviations in the quantity of items sent. The ASN is forwarded to INNIO for the goods receipt booking.
When does the ASN have to be issued? You should issue the ASN on the day the goods are collected.
Your benefits
-
Fast process thanks to pre-filled data.
-
Quantity deviations between transport declaration and dispatch can be easily adjusted.
-
Fewer queries from INNIO about deliveries that are already on their way.
-
Easy creation and printing of labels and shipping documents.
Please have a look at the video tutorial on the top tab. Additionally you can download here a quick guide on how to create an ASN and how to add additional pickup locations (= control points).

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Connection
EDI is a connection channel that is interesting for many INNIO suppliers and has been in demand for years. Now INNIO can implement it via SupplyOn.
It ensures a fully automated data transmission directly from your ERP system into INNIO's ERP system.
As prerequisite for ordering a full EDI connection, your company must first be registered for SupplyOn WebEDI.
If once registered for WebEDI, you wish to implement an automated direct EDI connection, you can request from SupplyOn an EDI implementation project which will be specifically designed for your company.
Note: For the technical implementation of the EDI connection project there is a one-time project fee applicable.
